    After testing most of the top video messaging platforms, we decided on Bonjoro in spite of what some might consider shortcomings, many of which were a nonissue for us, such as the lack of video editing or basic dashboard we mentioned above.

    The amazing integration for our CMS is game-changing, and that feature alone separated Bonjoro from all the others we tested.

    Look for a platform that will integrate with your systems and software to help you deliver the best experaicne for your leads and streamline systems for you, not one that will add more complexity or have many features you don’t need.

    Loom is an incredibly powerful video platform, and after trying it for a few weeks, its strength seems to be focused mainly on sharing screencasts and video walkthroughs.

    What my team and I use video messaging for is focused personal on-to-one video email messages and integration with our CRM and email support desk called Fusedesk. Bonjoro checks the boxes that matter for our business so we went with them and it’s been great.

    Vidyard

    Vidyard is a comprehensive video engagement platform that includes great hosting, analytics, and other video messaging features.

    Vidyard has some really great features, but when I was using it, I felt that I couldn’t get it branded the way I wanted, and Bonjoro just had a better CRM integration that fits into my workflow better.

    Vidyard also seems to be more focused on helping businesses produce video marketing content such as SEO content, video ads, prerecorded walkthrough videos, and more. I can do that through my other platforms, such as Vimeo for example. 

    However, my focus is on the personal video messaging aspect that drives personal conversation, is useful for support, and builds relationships for which Bonjoro seems to be a better fit for me. 

     

    BombBomb

    BombBomb also offers video email solutions but leans more toward sales-focused video outreach.

    I really like BombBomb, and I spent a week trying to set it up in the way I needed, but it doesn’t have the type of integration and workflows, and templates that I needed.

    It sounds like a minor point, but the video customization of the video page just didn’t have the options to get it to look and function the way I needed. 

    I sound like a broken record here, but it also didn’t have the integrations I needed either so Bonjoro still came out on top in that test as well for my specific needs.
